Rhyddings is an 11-16 school described as a "good school with outstanding features" by Ofsted in October 2011. KS4 results (92% 5 A*-C; 48% inc English and Maths in 2011-12) are excellent, and progress from KS2-KS4 is outstanding.

As a Business and Enterprise Specialist School, Rhyddings has an exciting curriculum, which incorporates real business links wherever possible.

HEADTEACHER'S MESSAGE

At Rhyddings, our aim is to develop citizens of the 21st century who can enhance the opportunities and outcomes for all members of the local, national and international communities.

We will achieve this by:

Providing an explicit focus on the development of learning skills and competencies that will enable students to make a smooth, uninterrupted transition on the their individual personalised journeys
Providing a flexible, engaging curriculum that instills in each student an enthusiasm for their learning at school and beyond
Working in partnership with our parents and building on the excellent foundations made in the feeder primary schools, we will enable all our students to achieve at levels well beyond those predicted from central statistics.

The school prides itself on its safe, secure, nurturing and fully inclusive environment, the flexible and adaptable learning spaces, the specialised vocational areas, the specialised areas for sport and performing arts and the well-planned ICT infrastructure.
